The Monastery only accommodates males wishing to spend some time in spiritual retreat. Prior to coming to the Monastery, we request that all Copts seeking retreat provide a letter from his father of confession or parish priest, stating the intention and duration of the required retreat.

For non-Copts seeking accommodation for spiritual retreat, we kindly request that you provide a letter from your local church parish, stating the intention and duration of the required retreat.

For those seeking access to the Monastery for study purposes, media purposes or otherwise, they must provide a letter of intent from their institution (university/media company/etc) as well as an authorisation letter from the Coptic Orthodox Patriarchate in Cairo.

Those wishing to visit the Monastery either for retreat or study/media/similar purposes, must contact the Monastery beforehand stating the intention of their visit.
